AU vs Jamjar
As you may know from reading the FAQ, there are two categories of players in Revision Three: AUs and Jamjars. AU characters are those who have modified their histories to fit into the world of Revision Three, and are normal humans who play the popular MMO The World. Jamjars are characters who were forcibly taken from their own home into The World, and cannot log out.
Given the circumstances of these two categories of players, each category has unique capabilities and limits in The World, which are defined below. We don't expect players to memorize the list or follow it very strictly, but it should be a good guideline for your interactions with other players.

AU | Jamjar |
✢ Characters can log out of The World. ✢ Characters can have multiple PCs. ✢ Characters may have a bad internet connection and lag or drop from The World completely. ✢ Characters' PCs do not need to look like them. ✢ PCs are limited by typical game restrictions such as invisible walls; they are unable to interact with anything the game does not allow them to. ✢ PCs have a bit of a stiffer expression on their face, and may make repetitive motions when idling or talking. ✢ PC death is a simple fainting; they will never suffer massive injuries appearance wise. |
✢ Characters cannot log out of The World. ✢ Their real body is in The World; thus they are required to take care of bodily needs. ✢ Characters will look like themselves (sans a race change and clothing changes) ✢ Characters can fully interact with objects in The World and are not restricted by invisible walls or the like. ✢ Characters have full control over their body, so they will appear vibrant and full of energy compared to AU characters. ✢ Their death will appear very real, and injuries sustained will appear and stay on the body unless healed. ✢ Jamjars may be mistaken for Vagrant AIs by system administrators or other players. |
