OFFLINE;
Offline Name: Tenma Matsukaze
Age: 13
Canon: Inazuma Eleven GO; primarily based off the first season/game (Inazuma Eleven GO: Shine/Dark) events
Location: Gardena, California

Original History: When he was three years old, Tenma attempted to rescue a puppy from some falling planks, but ended up being rescued by a soccer ball kicked by a mysterious youth. From that moment, he knew his life's calling: soccer. Eventually he was able to enroll at Raimon Jr. High, a school he had always admired and whose emblem was emblazoned on the soccer ball that saved him when he was three. However, his entry had not been entirely joyous, as the Fifth Sector agent, Tsurugi Kyousuke, had been sent to destroy the soccer club on the same day. While Tsurugi had failed to disband the club completely, his actions had greatly reduced their numbers and left the remaining members in despair as he reinforced Fifth Sector's practice of rigging matches. Tenma, who had not known of the Fifth Sector and its role in Japan's soccer system, stirred up the winds of revolution. Along with his new friend Nishizono Shinsuke, Tenma reminded Raimon of their passion for soccer, starting with their captain, Shindou Takuto in time for the Holy Road national tournament. Their spirit spread over the rest of the team and even made Tsurugi reconsider his stance towards Fifth Sector. Little by little, the revolution spread to different schools.

However, it was not all smooth sailing as Tenma began to face the repercussions of what he started. News spread that Fifth Sector was shutting down schools who openly supported the soccer revolution, forcing Tenma to realize how far the consequences went. While his will to play free soccer remained, he began to doubt whether the revolution was the correct path, especially when he discovered that the person who saved him ten years ago grew up to be the man running Fifth Sector. His doubts and troubles were cleared away during his clash with Amemiya Taiyou, a boy he befriended and he knew would be unable to play soccer after their match for Holy Road's semi-finals. Just as he had recovered his spirit, Shindou had been injured during the match and unable to play for the finals. To his surprise, Shindou had named Tenma the new captain in his stead. Although Tenma did not believe he was capable of leading, he took on the position with the support of the rest of Raimon's soccer club. While he was proving to be a capable captain during the first half of the finals, the opposing team had been replaced entirely by another whose strengths greatly outclassed Raimon's. Tenma's desperate strategy against the new team backfired entirely on him, leaving the team out of stamina. Before he lost his spirit again, Shindou reminded Tenma of his strength and passion. Renewed by Shindou's words, Tenma lead Raimon to victory for not just the tournament, but their entire cause.

AU History: Tenma is a Japanese American born on Hawaii, spending much of his time on the beach playing with the local surfers. One day when trying to save a stray puppy from wooden planks left by construction, Tenma was nearly squashed by one if it hadn't been for a visiting soccer star, who used a soccer ball to kick the plank that was going to fall on the boy away. The event left an enormous impression on Tenma, leading to his dream to become a professional soccer athlete and helps others. By the time he graduated elementary school and was ready for middle school, his parents moved his entire family to California due to job transfers and opportunities, providing him with a chance to actually play soccer. Although he had initial trouble integrating, Tenma's cheerful disposition proved powerful and he made great friends when he finally was able to join his new school's soccer team, only to discover that his league had been rigging matches to seem more "fair". He pushed restore the league back to its former glory and legitimacy, breaking his team's losing streak in the process.

However, just when the series of unfortunate events was over, terrible luck struck Tenma. While crossing the street, Tenma was hit by a level five truck. Thankfully, it had mostly grazed him and he was escaped with a broken leg. His injuries left him unable to play for the rest of the season, making it difficult to spend time with any of his friends due to his restricted mobility. He then discovers the popular game The World, previously unknown to him due to his young age and general disinterest in video games, which granted him the freedom to walk unhindered, with the exception of lag. He decides that's the best way to still keep up with his friends and kind of play soccer even while he's healing. Thus begins Tenma's crusade to get better at The World and draw his friends in at the same time...

Appearance: Just... roll with whatever looks the least ridiculous

Personality: Tenma is an optimistic young man with the catchphrase "It'll work out somehow!". Friendly and empathetic, he makes friends easily, even with the concept of soccer itself. He tries to see the best in people, even if they have hurt him in the past. As such, he is very forgiving, as seen with Tsurugi in his original canon, and is known to forgive those who have betrayed him, provided he feels they are genuinely sorry or remorseful. He is also fairly naive, not knowing much about the world until he has experienced it for himself or is told of various experiences. Among his most well known qualities is his persistence; he refuses to stay down when he is knocked over and literally beaten up. Combined with his high energy, optimism, and plain stubbornness, he is usually unmovable when it comes to things he's very passionate about.

He is usually very blunt and honest, often voicing what's on his mind or what he's feeling, sometimes coming off as righteous, especially when it involves soccer. He likes helping others, whether it's with physical activities or emotionally. He is the type who tries to comfort others, often with words of encouragement. He is very affectionate, as he enjoys praising others for their accomplishments, and celebrating with hugs. He is also very playful, and will tease others, such asking his relative every day about her vague romance life.

Despite his optimism, in the rare moments he has hesitations and doubts, it is difficult for him to recover from his own negativity. He greatly dislikes hurting others and robbing them of experiences, a trait that becomes a breeding pool for self-doubt. He is prone to moping and sitting around during these periods and needs others to pull him out of his wallowing, which usually involves someone yelling encouraging things at him.

Other: His love for soccer is SLIGHTLY toned down from his source canon. While he is still passionate, he doesn't go as far as personifying it.

ONLINE;
PC Name: Arion
Race: Human; Tenma had been overwhelmed by the level of customization and defaulted to human
Class: Adept Rogue (Twin Blade [1], Harvest Cleric [2]); Reflects Tenma's slow growth. Additionally, because he does not usually play video games and wasn't sure what play style was best suited for him, Adept Rogue allowed him to experience two different types of classes without the need to create several PCs. He chose Twin Blade as his first subclass as it was best matched with his position as a midfielder on the soccer field. Harvest Cleric was chosen because someone he befriended at the hospital was maining that class.
Appearance: PC + details
Other: n/a

[Amidst all the posts is a strange new topic full of kaomoji...]

Hello everyone (*^▽^)/ I'm still new here so please excuse me m(._.)m

Are the things supposed to disappear if you kick them? I tried to play soccer with this black thing with a ball on its head but it disappeared when I accidentally kicked it Σ(゚д゚ )It made me sad... I just wanted to play soccer with it but I killed him instead 。゚(゚ノД`゚)゚。

So is it normal? I don't want to kill anymore of them, but... If they do die when they get kicked, they shouldn't carry around those balls! (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

Third Person:
There was a certain thrill to running up and down vast expanses of green hills, even if his own body was sitting in front of a computer. In real life, Tenma Matsukaze was chair bound at the moment with a cast on his leg, but in The World, he was Arion and Arion was free to run around and do things. Of course, a virtual simulation was no where close to the real thing, but just watching the horizon bob up and down and hearing grass crunch rhythmically was enough to quell his cabin fever. At first, he was only searching for something to kill time until his leg healed completely and he could get back to playing soccer, but he discovered there had been more to this game than he originally thought. For each troll and PKing jerk around, there were at least three people who were kind enough to help him get started. There was a real sense of community in The World, and he found it refreshing.

He tried to get his friends on his soccer team to play and while there were some vague promises, so far no one had joined Arion. They didn't have to of course, but it was a little lonely without them. While he did enjoy playing with complete strangers, he wanted to share this experience with others, especially during a time where he couldn't explore the physical space around him. It was a little unfair, being left out of what he worked so hard to bring back. But he supposed it was unfair for him to think that way and deprive them of fair matches they worked so hard to bring back; it was their victory as much as it was his. Arion would just have to wait for them, and who knows. Maybe he'd even be good enough by then to show them around The World.
